OK so I will start off by saying that I loved the first two movies so I went into this very excited and hoping it wouldn’t disappoint me, And, it didn’t I loved it. From the cute new characters to move involved story lines for the old ones I just thought it was tooooooo cute! It had all the normal attributes; Exceptionally good graphics, of course, crazy adventure, cuteness all the makings of a great film! so If you loved the other ones its a must see! Ok here are the questions: 1)is it ok to ban a gay movie and not a lesbian one? 2)should sexuality be censored at all? 3) does it seem like discrimination to you? ———————————————– Principal Censor Lei’ataua Niuapu Fa’aui explained the decision to the Samoa Observer, claiming that the film wasn’t necessarily about lesbians. “It’s about a legend and all the vampires are female, that’s why it says lesbians (in the title). “In regards to sex (scenes), (they are) not really explicit, according to my conscience it’s suitable for (people) 21 and over,” he added. The decision has come as a shock to DVD store owners around Samoa, reports the newspaper. “The censors are always blocking movies, so it’s strange that they didn’t block this one,” said one DVD store owner. In light of the latest decision, Fa’aui was again quizzed about the banning of gay-themed movie Milk from Samoa. “It didn’t fit the criteria,” the censor responded. How random is this stuff OMG and i thought mine were random lol OK so I was pretty psyched about this movie because I generally like this sort of thing, however it is 3 hours long and you feel all 3 hours of it. The storyline was good just a tad dragged out and there was sex scenes for no aparent reason the highlight for me was in the opening credits when 2 girls kiss only to be ruined cos they die about 30 seconds later. It wasn’t terrible however would I invest another 3 hours in it to see it again…. not so much. It was a cool idea however had the typical un-necessary love shit in it and seemed very very much 3 hours long. Well you have to watch this movie with the knowledge it is from the 90’s and expect it to be a 90’s horror. With that said it does offer Catherine Zeta-Jones in over the knee boots, short skirts and as a bi-sexual girl so that alone could justify the watch. So the story line well, a Dr is investigating fear he takes a group of insomniacs and tells them it is a study of sleep depreveation. He locks them along with himself and assistant in this big haunted house and the haunting begins the effects and stuff are not bad really and yeah it lacks story line at times and the script a little blah but come on it’s the 90’s like Peter Andre 90’s LOL Ok so last night I took my better half to see Race to Witch Mountain. It was a really, really good movie especially if you like kids movies, which I do. I was a bit worried because “The Rock” was in it but his acting is improving (not like it could have gotten any worse I suppose). Milk Banned but ‘Lesbian’ Film OK In Samoa

Despite banning the Milk movie several months ago, British comedy film Lesbian Vampire Killers has been approved by Samoa’s Principal Censor, despite it containing nudity, violence and girl-on-girl love scenes.source
